DESCRIPTION
The Industraline Model CDW-40 Transport Conveyor handles
a wide variety of captive assembly skids, fixtures and pallets. A number
of pre-engineered widths are available for 16" to 61" in
1" increments to meet any assembly or transport application. Model
CDW-40 is ideally suited for Synchronous, Non-Synchronous Assembly and
Transport Operation. The open center and modular construction allows for
a variety of bolt-on accessories and add-on automation components to
enhance your assembly line performance. Wheels are 2.7" DIA. Delrin
II DE-8000 series material with 500 lbs. dead load capacity each. Wheel
speed is 2.7" times faster than chain speed. Wheels are standard on
6" centers with a driving force of 85 lbs. per center. Other
mounting centers are available upon request. Reference our Engineering

your application.
SPECIFICATIONS
FRAME: Medium duty aluminum frames at a
weight of 6.5 lbs per foot per side. Structural grade alloy temper of
6063T6 and clear coat anodized architectural finish.
Longitudinal bolt slots on all sides for 1/4" and 3/8"
diameter hex or square head bolts to mount accessories and support
components. Clip-on UHMW side guide for reduced friction and
noise. 1" diameter passage, used as an optional air
manifold to supply accessory components and operator tooling
requirements. Engineered plastic rollers for long wear life and
reduced coefficient of friction between base chain and support
rail. Enclosed chain return path. 7 GA. bolted cross
members.
BEARINGS: All bearings are precision heavy duty,
lubricated for life, ball bearing units with cast iron housings.
DRIVE SHAFT: 1 7/16" diameter located at the
discharge end of unit
MOTOR DRIVE: 1/3 HP, 60cycle TEFC right angle
gear motor available in all voltages (note: maximum load for 1/3 HP
unit is 210 lbs., center mounted if possible.)
SPEED: 45 FPM, constant
INTERMEDIATE SECTIONS: Available in lengths
from 2'-0" min. to 12'-0" max. (please reference Engineering
Section for Limitations or Space Requirements).
FLOOR SUPPORTS: Adjustable type supports are
available from 12" to 42" top of wheel (T.O.W.) with
adjustment of + or - 1".
END TAKE-UP: Manual screw type, separate for
each side.
LOAD CAPACITY: 500 lbs. per foot dead load,
4680 lbs total load capacity.

Note: HP capacity changes with speed (please reference engineering
section).
SUPPORTS: Multi-tier floor supporting or
ceiling support header channel.
ACCESSORY COMPONENTS: Reference Accessory and
Component Sections for such items as Stoppers, Diverters, Positioners,
Race Packs, Lock Devices, Pallet Exciters, Etc,...
WHEEL DRIVE: #40 wheel to wheel for additional
drive capacity.
